Jaymz Marez Session

Jaymz Marez Session

As stated in an earlier post, for this session we shot in the salon as we had 4 hair stylist and models and wanted to give the artists access to all their tools. Also I did not want to shuttle the subjects back and forth from location to salon.  I used a simple three light [...]

BETH CRUZ SESSION

BETH CRUZ SESSION

It has been a while since I have photographed Elizabeth Cruz for a series of bikini images that were VERY well received. After texting back and forth the night before we decided to get together and shoot despite the weather.  Weather?  Well I am a location shooter and the overnight frost warning did not bode [...]

Final Cut Pro 7

Final Cut Pro 7

A short film I made in my backyard after completing the Lynda “Essential Final Cut Pro 7″ course. I have so many ideas for music videos and films and was tired of waiting for camera people and video editors so I decided to learn on my own… let the madness begin.

Traveling Lite

Traveling Lite

In preparation for my recent road trip to the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and then Las Vegas, I toyed with the idea of bringing my studio lights. They weren’t that heavy right? How much would the airline overcharge me to bring them? Maybe I could ship them ahead of me via FedEx? Maybe I could rent them there? But after considering the effort, security of the places I would be staying and practicality I opted for my speedlites (4 x 580EX II) instead.
